Support Volunteer at Special Needs Family Retreat
Joni and Friends Northern California is excited to introduce this new Family Retreat venue at, Woodleaf (a Young Life camp) from August 7-12, 2025. This Family Retreat is designed to serve families living with disability in an accessible, high energy camp environment. Families will be cared for, rejuvenated, and encouraged in Christ during our time together. They will enjoy a fun, Christ-centered environment that is safe and accepting for each member of the family. During this time of respite, they will build lasting memories and find renewed hope as they take part in Bible study, accessible activities, and opportunities to connect with other families who face similar challenges. We need 20 "Buddy" volunteers to spend the week with a child impacted by disabilities or their sibling. We also need 30 "support volunteers" to help serve meals, lead activities and support families with specific needs. Ideally volunteers are needed for the entire week, but partial day opportunities are also available.
